…and how the heck are ya?
Like most things, it started when I was younger.
I took a year abroad after finishing high school, before starting undergrad at Gustavus Adolphus College. The thought was that while I was studying abroad in Indonesia, I would keep a blog for those at home who cared about my tales and travels.
With a free Blogger account, I started up The Wandering Holman and wrote about my stories from Makassar, spreading the word of my life across seas.
In hindsight, I’m sure it was very amusing for my relatives and a couple of friends to connect with me, and I wanted to keep it up through college as well.
Six years later…
As you can imagine, I didn’t keep up with a blog throughout college. I did plenty, that’s for sure, however, none of it seemed noteworthy (or perhaps appropriate enough) that I’d want my grandmother reading.
There was romance, laughs, friendships, rugby, improv, joining a sorority, acting as co-pres to said sorority. And perhaps we’ll get more into all of that later.
For now, I want to share my stories again and let you know that if you find yourself in any similar situations, you’re not alone. I’ve been there, and I’m here to give the tea that gets me through it.
Let’s get to know each other and thrive together, keep up with me and I’ll keep you up to date with the latest lifehacks I’ve learned.
