Getting tired of others not understanding the success you envision for yourself? Here’s your reminder to believe in your dreams especially when they don’t.
Have you heard the “believe in your dreams they were given to you for a reason” quote?
It’s easy to forget the meaning and brush that off like no big deal but truly read it again and let the weight of that statement sink in. No one else has the dream exactly like you have it and you owe it to yourself to act on it because no one will do it like you.
There is power when you believe in your dreams and you can’t be afraid to take them seriously.
This post is all about how to believe in your dreams.
This is your reminder of how you can combat the nay-sayers, continue to take your dreams seriously, and believe in yourself without losing your momentum. It’s all about that positive mindset baby!
Let’s get started.
BELIEVE IN YOUR DREAMS
Have you been in that room before, when you are speaking passionately about something you take seriously and everyone’s looking at you like you must be telling a joke?
It hurts when they don’t take you seriously and they don’t see all the hours you put towards committing yourself to this dream day after day.
Especially if they’re your family and friends.
And you probably rationalize “well they’re just looking out for me” or “they don’t want me to get hurt”, and you’re right.
That’s exactly what they’re doing because your dream is too far for them to imagine and the unknown can be daunting and (sometimes) disappointing.
No one will see your vision until you make it your reality.
No one knows where you want to go and no one will understand the end result as much as you do.
You have to believe in your dreams because no one else will for you.
But it feels impossible sometimes…
And that’s why mindset is everything and you have to train yourself to have a positive mind.
Keep doing the work you love and continue on the journey that challenges you in all the best ways. It will be incredibly difficult at times but if you were to quit now then what was the point?
Whenever you wonder or question if the process is working, remember that the process will completely stop if you stop, and then it’s definitely not working.
If you never stop working towards your dreams then by default, your life will change.
Do you feel like you need some more motivation to stay on track?
This blog post should do the trick!
But they don’t take me seriously.
No one will take you seriously at first because people are intimidated by change and we live in a world where people make large statements and fail to follow through all the time.
That’s why you need to be a person of your word.
You have to take your dreams seriously and you have to remember your WHY whenever you lose sight of the end goal.
It’s up to you to find your true reason, your true purpose if your WHY is weak.
Here’s a helpful interview with Dean Graziosi on the 7 Levels Deep tool to understand your why:
So will you believe in yourself?
Are you ready to believe in your dreams even though no one else will understand at first?
Even when people might try to talk you out of it or make it seem impossible because they just can’t imagine it?
The choice is yours to make, what will you choose?
