Everyone needs a pep talk to remind them why their goals are important and if you’re starting to doubt your progress, these motivational pep talks are for you!
Everyone doubts themselves at some point along the way.
If anyone was unwaveringly 100% sure that the little steps they did each day mattered then I invite them to finish this blog post on my behalf. Unfortunately, doubt is part of us and it’s something we learn to overcome or submit to. And sometimes, we all just need a pep talk to keep our momentum.
These are the pep talks you needed to keep going on your seemingly ordinary habits to achieve your extraordinary results.
This post is all about pep talks.
Does it feel like you’re doing all the right steps, taking all the right action, and for what?
You’re not getting where you want to be and you’re starting to doubt whether you’re doing it right and whether it’s actually something someone like you could do anyway?
Typically, when you feel like quitting that’s when you should remember why you started (I’ve got a whole blog post on that here), but sometimes it’s not just that.
Sometimes you just need a good pep talk to remind you that any and all steps forward matter.
And that’s what I’m here for, so let’s get into it –
Pep Talks To Yourself
Don’t walk ~ RUN ~ and get yourself in the mood to crush some goals!
Are you looking in the mirror and seeing no changes? Standing on the scale and seeing the same number?
While you could definitely assess your strategy and maybe take a closer at whether your efforts are aligned, you have to remember that progress takes time.
There’s no substitute for it and you can’t rush the process if you want lasting results.
Even though that means you won’t have an overnight snatched waist or juicy derriere, that doesn’t mean it won’t ever happen.
Focus on the health of it all, and how good you’re starting to feel with your habits, and how you’ve committed to something that doesn’t grant instant gratification.
If you’re doing something for even just 20 minutes a day that’s still more than if you did nothing.
Success is an accumulation of the little steps you consistently take.
Are you trying to get out of a bad job or trying to start up your dream career?
Let’s start with the leaving your current job dilemma –
It can be incredibly discouraging to apply over and over again without so much as the rejection email courtesy.
To continuously put yourself out there and be constantly let down, there are only a few things more disappointing.
But if you stop applying, if you stop looking and stop trying, then you’re never going to leave your current job.
Let that sink in. You’ll never leave.
However, if you keep putting yourself out there despite the potential rejection and ghosting, eventually you will be accepted.
You have to persist. And the same goes for starting a business.
If you never start or if you decide that it won’t happen fast enough or be successful enough then you’re right.
It will never happen.
But if you get started and take the leap, allow yourself to learn and grow on your own timeline, you will eventually find success.
(and I whole-heartedly believe this btw, it’s the Law of Attraction basically)
The law of attraction is a philosophy suggesting that positive thoughts bring positive results into a person’s life, while negative thoughts bring negative outcomes. It is based on the belief that thoughts are a form of energy and that positive energy attracts success in all areas of life, including health, finances, and relationships.Elizabeth Scott, Very Well Mind
It doesn’t matter how big or small your dream business is, if you believe it will happen and you work towards making it happen consistently, then it will.
For Your Passion
Is there a skill you wish you could do better? Or just a personal life goal you want to achieve?
If you want to travel the world, then you have to book the trip.
If you want to play an instrument really well, then you have to buy the instrument and practice.
Meet the love of your life? Then you have to put yourself out there.
Every success starts with the decision that it’s worth it and you’re willing to put in the work to make it happen.
There’s no way around it and there aren’t any shortcuts for true success, and the harshest truth is that not everyone is willing to put in the work to make their goals and dreams come true.
You’ve heard it before ~ if it were easy then everyone would do it ~ and that’s completely true.
There’s no shortage of “success” and there isn’t a finite amount to go around. Everyone could achieve their goals if they were willing to.
But so many won’t because they’ve already decided in their mind that it’s not possible for them.
So do you believe it’s worth it?
The steps you take, no matter how small or large, are moving you forward.
Are you willing to be patient and trust that your efforts will be matched with success if you’re consistent?
