Whether you believe what’s meant for you will be yours or not, you can’t avoid your destiny – no matter how hard you try.

Do you believe in your destiny? That you have the power to manifest your destiny and that avoiding it is impossible?
Nowadays it can feel like people are hesitant to believe in fate, and wonder what their destiny is or how destiny fits into their everyday lives.
However, it would seem that finding your destiny and allowing what’s meant for you to find you is unavoidable.
This post is all about your destiny.
When You Try To Avoid Your Destiny
Do you believe in fate?
Does it sound too cheesy, like something of a Disney movie or Rom-Com? Or are you resonating already and nodding your head?
I feel like no one wants to admit that fate could be real but I’m 100% on board!
If you do believe in fate, maybe you’re wondering “well what’s next then? is there a way how to know your destiny”?
Why is it that some people seem to have super clear dreams? The path almost magically appears before them while other people’s lives seem to be the more mundane/normal life?
For example, my boyfriend wants to be a WWE wrestler and the calling is loud and clear for him. For myself, I want to encourage people to follow their dreams and achieve their goals.
(while the outcome is clear, the path maybe isn’t so much…)
And then there are some people that just have no clue. They just want to be happy.
If that’s you then no shade because you don’t have to have it all figured out.
However, following your passions, trusting your instincts, and embracing change will point you in the right direction for sure.
How can you be sure?
So let’s say you’re going through the motions and wondering if you’re just spinning in circles?
And the doubt starts to creep in… what if you DON’T actually have a destiny and this is ALL there is?
Oh doubter, here’s a quote that might help –
A person often meets their destiny on the road they took to avoid it.
Jean de La Fontain
Now you might be wondering, does the heck does that mean? I have to avoid my dreams and then I’ll achieve them?
Not really but good try.
Sometimes the steps you take to avoid something that is meant for you will find its way back to you.
Like if you break up with someone because the timing wasn’t right only to meet again in the future and finally be together.
Or you get cut from the basketball team only to come back and be the best basketball player ever.
Maybe you love to write but the writing job you applied for went with someone else, so now you apply for a different position only to find yourself being encouraged into a writing role at that new company.
These examples aren’t always how destiny and fate play out, sometimes it’s the long game that you won’t recognize until years later.
And sometimes it’s much shorter, giving you that AHA moment where it feels like it’s piecing itself together.
So never give up.
No matter what, you are destined for greatness and if you’re willing to pursue that no matter the means… then you will achieve it.
Sometimes we take too much stock in “signs” and feel like the universe tells us when something isn’t meant for us.
And that’s why you need to trust your instincts.
If you want it then you can’t let others tell you no or you’re not good enough, you keep working at it.
You will get there.
