Daily reminders and affirmations are great but these are the positive mantras to live by that ensure a happy life.

Having some good mantras to live by can’t just be something I love right? Everyone should have daily affirmations and mantras for living their best life.
Sometimes mantras pick you up from a low place or can be used to keep the positivity going. Whether you’re using a mantra for confidence, success, or empowerment, we would be lost without them.
This is my list of mantras that I love for motivation to live a life full of positivity and I hope you love them too!
This post is all about why every happy girl needs positive mantras to live by.
Positive Mantras To Live By
Typically I find my favorite mantras in books or on Pinterest, I’m a sucker for a good aesthetic quote. But lately, I’ve had a couple of good Real Talks with friends who have shared some of their favorite mantras with me.
These are my absolute preferential mantras for living in the moment —
Mantras For Life Success
1. The Universe will keep you from anything not meant for you and guide you to what is meant for you.
I was chatting with my favorite hairstylist about a job opportunity that didn’t come through for me and she shared this mantra.
And here’s why I love it: Because it’s absolutely the most positive way to look at opportunities that don’t come through. When you’re rejected or feel like you’ve “failed”, it can be SO hard not to fall into a slump.
When you’re disappointed it can feel impossible to see the bright side, and I’ve found this mantra to be the perfect reminder.
2. I will not hesitate, I will just do what I need to do.
Mentally jumping into something you’re nervous about is so nerve-racking and it’s usually why people don’t achieve half the things they desire.
Procrastination fueled by fear is the BANE of our existence.
Whatever task lays before you that you’re nervous about (even though you know it’s best for you ultimately), don’t be afraid. Move without hesitation and step boldly into your next chapter.

3. It’s not what I have to do. It’s what I get to do.
Perhaps the most perfect reminder that this is our ONE precious life and we are the masters of our fate.
Yes yes, the Universe works with us but ultimately the decision is ours, and if you look at every opportunity as a blessing rather than an obligation, everything changes.
This is one of the simplest mindset shifts, I can ~vividly~ recall my parents saying this to me as a kid whenever I would gripe about something.
Whether your days are filled with passions or duties, think of it this way: AT LEAST you have another day to live. Another day to breathe and love and be yourself.
4. I can always do my best.
You can’t control everything and you certainly can’t control those around you. But you can always do your best and show up 100%.
Whether you feel completely underqualified or lost in confusion, the most you can do is jump two feet in and try. Who cares if you fail? After all, FAIL is just the First Attempt In Learning, right?
Sometimes the bravest and most important thing you can do is just show up.

5. My life is great with all the positive and negative things in it.
Why not embrace that your life is fantastic with all the perceived good and bad? Honestly, I think sometimes people think that mantras have to be seriously positive all the time but that doesn’t mean only embracing the good.
You can’t be selective a neglect the lows in your life while exalting the highs.
I recently sent out an email on this exact topic, check it out here and be sure to join my email list if you haven’t already!
6. I’m focusing on the step in front of me, not the whole staircase.
I am easily distracted by thinking too far ahead and looking at the big picture. I plan out years and decades in advance which keeps me from enjoying each day.
However, getting stuck and feeling overwhelmed is too slippery a slope when you’re not living presently.
Just focus one day at a time and soon you’ll find whatever you’re working through passes.
7. I can start over each morning.
Maybe you’ve been having a bad day, week, month, or year but that doesn’t mean you can’t decide to start differently.
Each new day is a new opportunity to start living how we desire and we owe it to ourselves to live to our full potential. I sincerely love the prospect of growth and change.
It’s refreshing to know that if there’s something you don’t love about your life, you have the power to change it.
What are your favorite quotes or mantras to live by?
So which daily affirmations are you going to start using? Or you could start by creating your own!
However you go about collecting your mantras, they are great reminders every day that your life is as fantastic as you make it.
Mindset is everything, so choose to love what you have and how you live!
