Constant work is a truth in life and if you want anything worth having then you need to remember that hard work leads to success.

There’s a saying that “a meaningful life is a stressful life”, and let’s think about that. Surely stressing over your life doesn’t mean it’s now meaningful!
Rather all of the important things in your life won’t happen without a little intention and hustle. And let’s not deep dive into toxic hustle culture, I’m simply referring to working hard for what you want.
If you’re willing to find a way to make your dreams happen, take consistent action, and show determination then you can achieve anything.
This post is all about how hard work leads to success.
Hard Work Leads To Success
We know by now that everyone would take the easy route if they could. Unfortunately, news flash, there is no easy path to success! At least not lasting, meaningful success.
When you set your mind to a goal or a dream, there is so much more work that needs to be done than what pops into your head.
Yeesh, that sounds depressing and isn’t meant to dissuade you from following your dreams.
But seriously, we often forget the mental battles and mindset struggles we’ll have along the way. And not to mention that while the overall idea of how to achieve your dreams might be simple, each day is its own battle.
As you push to stay consistent and make even 1% progress, there will be times when you want to give up.
When your friends and family might question your goal, whether it’s worth it, or if you would forget the goal for one second to have fun with them.
It’s not their fault. They aren’t the ones with your goal. Only YOU know how badly you want it and what it means to you. If you’re willing to put in the hours, then you will achieve what you’re looking for. It’s not a matter of if but a matter of when.
Don’t rush yourself, be kind with how much work things take, and don’t let others’ doubt keep you from your vision. And while you’re hard at work, make sure it’s the right work.
It’s better to work smarter and make sure that all of your efforts are truly moving you forwards.

Remember: Always bend, don’t break.
There’s a saying that I love, “bend not break”, and it’s the idea that you will have mistakes and slip-ups. Not everything will go accordingly and that’s okay, because… well, LIFE.
But when these occur it’s important to take them as a lesson and not as a sign to quit.
You’ve only failed when you’ve quit working on a goal that’s important to you. Otherwise, anything else that happens on the journey is meant to be a lesson.
It could be a lesson of what to do more/less of, where to shift your focus, and what’s working versus what’s not.
Because truthfully, hard work is uncomfortable. Being consistent is uncomfortable. But also, staying in your comfort zone WILL be uncomfortable.
By choosing to work on your goals now, you’re living on your time. If you stayed in your comfort zone, eventually a decision will be forced upon you.
Don’t believe me? Here are some examples—
If you start saving money for a rainy day, yes you’ll have less money to spend and you’ll have to be more conscious about your spending habits. However, when that day comes you’ll be prepared and you won’t have to worry.
But if you don’t save anything, that rainy day will come and you’ll be forced to find the money. Any way that you can.
If you prioritize your health and commit to eating well and working out, yes you’re making conscious decisions to be healthier every day that change your daily routine. But you can count on your health.
But if you don’t care about your eating and drinking habits, and don’t move your body in nourishing ways then one day you’ll be faced with a health-related choice that your body makes for you.

Everything you do now will affect the decision you have to make in the future.
Truthfully, you choose what you prioritize now and what you will work on every day so you don’t have to worry about it affecting you in the future.
Not to overcomplicate things or now make you worried about every little thing, but I think a part of you already knew this. Your intentions determine everything once they’re backed by action. And that action usually means hard work and consistency.
There’s a fine balancing act we all must do between living in the present and being mindful of our future.
Really this just means to find enjoyment every day while prioritizing habits that Future You will thank you for.
Odds are that you already know what you wish your future would look like, so what if I told you that that future could actually happen?
You just have to decide to make it happen. It will take hard work and commitment but the only thing stopping you is YOU.
